AS Colour is a member of the amfori BSCI initiative, ensuring safe, fair, and humane working conditions across its global supply chain. They’re part of the Better Cotton Initiative, helping make cotton production kinder to farmers and the environment, and all fabrics are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified — meaning no harmful dyes or chemicals ever touch your skin. Their “Goodbye Plastic” program and long-wear ethos remind us that small, durable choices can make a big environmental impact.

American Apparel takes an end-to-end approach to responsibility — sourcing the cotton, spinning the yarn, knitting, dyeing, cutting, and sewing all under one roof. We operate with intention to keep our carbon footprint as light as possible. Our print-on-demand model means we only produce what’s needed, reducing overproduction and waste because clothes should be made for someone, not for stockrooms or landfill.  We also encourage mindful purchasing through our firm no change-of-mind returns policy, helping to slow the cycle of excess and promote more considered consumption.
